Board members function as advocates and communicators of TreeHouse's purpose, mission, and vision to the public-at-large.
New Board members are asked to review and understand the vision and to respond to ten questions about how they are being called to serve at TreeHouse.
Board members receive an updated Board manual annually. This manual describes the vision, purpose, responsibilities, and other details of Board activities for the coming year.
Board orientation is held once a year for new and existing Board members and their spouses.
Before each Board of Directors meeting, a special committee called Board Management gathers to ensure there is the right content and procedure for the meeting.
Each spring and fall, the Board conducts a retreat to examine how they are performing as a body.
